 Sheriff's sale versus Tax Deed Sale - 2009/02/23 23:22 Hello! Can anyone tell me the difference between a sheriff's sale and tax deed sale? The price range seems the same for both. And i know one is for the mortgage default and the other is for a tax default. I'm a beginner and about to attend my first sheriff's auction sale next week, this is in bergin county, new jersey. I'm hoping to find a home to move in. Thanks for any help!
