newb here questioning the research - 2008/11/10 23:23could someone compile a short list on what investigating should be done to learn about the property. I am aware of checking the couty tax record and calling the state to learn of any bankruptcies. But please list the important steps to researching a potential buy. Thank you.

Re:newb here questioning the research - 2009/01/07 18:28Yes, if you are serious about purchasing the home through a deed, a title search is a must. Otherwise, you don't have to go into much depths with a tax lien.

Re:newb here questioning the research - 2009/04/21 22:38I've bought tax lien certificates in the past and it's really easy and safe when you know how the strategies work. There are pitfalls in any strategy but they're easily avoided when you research the properties in depth. I've tryed a couple different stratagies and web site this one is by far the best one I've found give it a try http://www.NoRiskInvestor.com Hope this helps you out.
